Khairana Zata Nugroho, S.Hum., M.Hum., is a lecturer in the Department of History, Diponegoro University. Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum of historical studies, with a primary focus on the colonial era in Indonesia. Her scholarly work spans medical history, socio-political developments, and cultural history, the latter being her primary field of specialization. Her articles have been published in Sinta-accredited journals, including Agastya, Analisis Sejarah, and Santhet (Jurnal Sejarah Pendidikan dan Humaniora), among others. Beyond teaching and research, she contributes to the academic community by discussing digital historical research techniques, such as the significance of digital archives as historical sources. Currently, she is involved in several research projects, including “Women Amidst the Colonial Identity Transition of Dutch East Indies Society” and “Poverty Alleviation Efforts in the Pekalongan Residency During the Dutch Colonial Period, 1901–1942.”
