Mission
- To administer the teaching and coursework bearing scholars qualified in the study and research of Indonesian history and culture, particularly Indonesian maritime history and culture.
- To conduct research in the field of Indonesian history and culture, particularly Indonesian maritime history and culture.
- To promote community services in order to discuss social issues related to Indonesian maritime society.
- To develop a particular system of documentation, publication, and distribution of the result of scientific projects.
