ALUMNI PROFILE
Bonnie Triyana was born in Rangkasbitung in 1979. He completed his higher education in the History Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro in 2003. He built his professional career as a historian and museum curator. In 2010, he founded Historia, the first popular history magazine in Indonesia. Bonnie was also part of the Indonesian Collection Repatriation Team, which successfully repatriated 472 artifacts from the Netherlands. His career continued to advance, leading to his appointment as a guest curator at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Currently, Bonnie serves as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024–2029 term.
Nunuk Suryani is a lecturer and Professor at Universitas Sebelas Maret. She completed her bachelor’s degree in the History Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro in 1989. In addition to her academic career, Nunuk has held several key positions, including Head of the Institute for the Development and Empowerment of School Principals (LPPKS) at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (2017–2020), and Secretary of the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel at the same ministry (2020–2022). She currently serves as the Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
Harto Juwono is a historian, lecturer in the History Department at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), and an expert consultant for Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). An alumnus of the History Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro, he specializes in legal history. His professional background as an BUMN practitioner includes roles as an expert consultant at PT PLN (Persero) (2012–2016), PT KAI (Persero) (2013–2020), and PT Pertamina (Persero) (2019–2022). As a historian and academic, he has authored numerous published works, including “Recht van Eigendom and Inlandsch Eigendom: A Study of Landownership in Colonial Indonesia” and “From Bengal to Java: Raffles’ Landrente in Indonesian Agrarian System” in IHiS (Indonesian Historical Studies); “Legal Dualism in Native Christian Marriage Law in The Dutch East Indies (19th–20th Centuries)” in the Theological Journal Kerugma; and “Gelijkgesteld: The Change of Chinese Legal Status Under Indonesian Colonial Structure” in Mandarinable: Journal of Chinese Studies.
Wavin Nuha Kuntanaka is an alumnus of the History Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he pursued his master’s degree at the Universitas Pertahanan (UNHAN). He has professional experience as an Executive Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), Associate Planner at the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) of the Republic of Indonesia, Researcher at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, and Junior Fundraiser at UNICEF Indonesia.
Tegar Angkasa is a researcher and creative planner at Sintas Karya Bernas. He completed his bachelor’s degree in History at Universitas Diponegoro in 2021. He holds a Master of Museum and Heritage Studies from The Australian National University, which he completed under an LPDP scholarship. During his studies in Australia, Tegar was actively involved in the Indonesian Student Association in Australia (PPIA).
Taufik Hidayah is an alumnus of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in History at Universitas Diponegoro. Following his graduation in 2019, Taufik pursued his postgraduate studies at Hiroshima University, Japan, majoring in International Peace and Co-existence. He has served as a visiting researcher at Leiden University, the Netherlands, and the University of Münster, Germany. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies at Hiroshima University.
