History Student Presents Research at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Two students majoring in History, Faculty of Humanities UNDIP, Aditya Nurullahi Purnama (2014) and Fatah Ali Mahmud (2012), were invited to present their research at the International Conference on ASEAN Studies (ICONAS) at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand on 3-5 August 2015 ago.

The activity was held in the city of Bangkok and was attended by delegates from a number of ASEAN countries. Their papers were presented in front of the participants who were dominated by postgraduate students from a number of research institutes and universities in Southeast Asia, making them both the youngest participants among the other participants.

Aditya and Fatah are students who are beneficiaries of Bidikmisi and Beastudi Etos which are intended for students who are economically disadvantaged. However, their limitations are not a barrier to excel in the international arena to build the good name of the alma mater and the nation.
