GATHERING

A connection forum between lecturers and students is held at least once a year, especially when new students are admitted. If there are things that you want to communicate, student representatives can apply to the study program management to organize a dialogue forum between lecturers and students.

FIELD WORK STUDY

There are three PKL activities organized by PSS that must be followed by students, consist of PKL Hindu-Buddhist Sites, PKL Social Research, and PKL Search for Historical Sources. PKL activities are part of courses. PKL Hindu-Buddhist sites are part of the Indonesian History until the XV century course. Social Research PKL is part of the Social Research Methods course. PKL Historical Sources Search is part of the Fundamentals of Historical Theory and Methodology course. The course lecturer becomes the PKL supervisor in PKL activity. PKL activities goal is students get empirical knowledge in the field according to the subjects they are studying.

CULTURAL STUDY

PSS organizes “Cultural Studies” activities every year. This activity organize in a place where there are historical and cultural sites surrounding. This activity was followed by new students accompanied by senior students and lecturers. In this activity, new students are introduced to one of the historical and cultural sites. Through this activity, there is academic interaction between lecturers and students.

CULTURE ARTS AND CINEMATOGRAPHY EXPO

Through two courses, namely Tourism Management and Historical Cinematography, students have a channel of interest and talent while actively contributing to tourism issues, as well as producing new works in the field of historical documentary films. The two activities are routinely organize at the end of every even semester through the Tourism Expo and Cinema Expo.

STUDENT CREATIVITY PROGRAM

The Student Creativity Program is a program organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education through the Directorate General. Belmawa (Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs) which aims to provide students with a platform to improve their education, research, and community service skills in general. PKM was developed to lead students to reach the level of enlightenment of creativity and innovation based on mastery of science and technology as well as high faith. PKM are given students a place to be able to implement abilities, skills, responsibilities, build teamwork, and develop independence through PKM activities.

RESEARCH pkm (pkm-r)

PKM-R goals to reveal the causal relationship, action-reaction, design, social behavior, economy, education, health or good culture in experimental and descriptive aspects. Based on the characteristics of the object of study, PKM research is divided into research in the exact field (PKM-RE) and research in the social and humanities field (PKM-RSH).

Outputs: Progress Reports, Final Reports, Scientific Articles, and/or Program Products.

eNTREPRENEURSHIP pkm (pkm-k)

PKM-K is a student creativity program in creating business activities. The purpose of PKM-K is to motivate and open up opportunities for students to produce creative works, innovations as provisions for entrepreneurship.

Outputs: Progress Reports, Final Reports, Business Products.

community service pkm (pkm-pm)

PKM-PM goals to foster student empathy for the problems faced by the community through the application of campus science and technology which is the right solution for problems or community needs that are not profit-oriented. Partners in PKM-PM are non-profit communities, such as educational institutions, government agencies, youth organizations, orphanages, or other social institutions.

Application of science and technology pkm (pkm-pi)

PKM-PI goals to open students’ knowledge of science and technology to the business world problems (micro businesses to large companies) or profit-oriented society.

Ideas initiative pkm (pkm-kc)

PKM-KC is a vehicle for students to realize constructive ideas based on intention and reason, although they have not yet reached the stage of providing perfect functional values and or direct benefits for other parties. PKM-KC products must be at a ready-to-use and functional scale or at least a prototype scale ready to be tested.

Output: Progress Report, Final Report, Prototype or Functional Product.

Constructive futuristic ideas pkm (pkm-gfk)

PKM-GFK goals to motivate students in managing their imagination, perception and reasoning, thinking about futuristic but constructive administer as an effort to achieve SDG’s goals in Indonesia as well as solutions to the concerns of the Indonesian nation.

Outputs: Progress Reports, Final Reports, Videos uploaded on Youtube.

written ideas pkm (pkm-gt)

PKM-GT is problem solving, In addition, other main characteristics of PKM-GT are futuristic, visionary, require a long duration of time, are realistic, and have a systematic or massive-scale impact.

Output: A written idea article containing the content of a change or development concept.

Scientific articles pkm (pkm-ai)

PKM-AI goals to give students experience in producing scientific papers. PKM-AI is a program for writing scientific articles that are sourced from the results of other academic activities in the education, research, and community service sector. For PKM-AI, student groups simply submit written works in the form of scientific articles that are sent online and do not end at PIMNAS.

Outcome: Scientific Articles.
