Graduate Profile
Goal
The Bachelor of History Study Program has goals, namely, produce graduates in the fields of history and culture, principally on maritime history and culture. The graduates are expected to uphold moral integrity, scientific attitude, and become more aware about the nation’s actual problems.

The alumni should have the following competencies, namely:
First, the main competencies of graduates:
- Becoming a Bachelor of Humanities who is able to analyze historical issues based on the principles of historical science.
- Becoming a Bachelor of Humanities who is able to publish research, ranging from oral to written, and audio-visual.
- Becoming a Bachelor of Humanities who is able to deal with contemporary issues from a historical perspective.
Second, graduates should be creative and innovative educators and facilitators of history learning. Moreover, graduates should understand historical material well and follow the development of information technology.
Third, other competencies / graduate options:
- Becoming a Bachelor of Humanities who is able to manage historical and cultural heritage based on the applicable laws and regulations.
- Becoming a Bachelor of Humanities who is able to create popular and journalistic writing from a historical perspective.
